American Chopper

Updated.
I was watching this one episode of American Chopper on Discovery, when something that Mikey said really made me laugh. If I remember correctly, it was the episode where they were building a custom bike for Billy Joel, and as usual, Mikey being main comic relief in the show, never fails to amuse and entertain his fellow co-workers and of course his father, Paul Sr. And of course, us viewers get to ride along and laugh out hearts out.

He said, "Some people cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."

I googled it up and found that the originator of this quote was none other than the witty Oscar Wilde. To reproduce its wit effect on your listener (assuming they haven't heard it), you'll have to say it with the proper intonation and emphasis. Read the first part with your usual tone, and when you reach the word 'others', pause for a moment (just to stir up some anticipation), and then emphasize on the word 'whenever' as you continue to finish up the remaining of the phrase. I'm sure will get some laughs out of it.
